“I always wanted to own a flower shop”

Those of us that own flower shops constantly hear this from customers that love the way our shops look & smell.
Well growing up I always wanted to own a diner! I grew up in the restaurant business. Remember “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”? Well my family was like that only smaller. My 2 brothers & I worked in my Dad’s restaurant. We took a week off every summer & went to Wildwood New Jersey for our vacation. When we drove past Olga’s Diner on the way, I would imagine the sign reading “Sally’s Diner”. When I was in college, I helped out a friend in a flower shop one holiday & fell in love with the industry. After working for a couple of florists, it was time to open my own shop. I blinked a couple of times & it’s 32 years latter. I can honestly say after all these years I still love the industry & what I do.
