Sally Danciu of Sally’s Flowers — the best of the best — in Fox Chase, took a minute out of her busy schedule to give our readers some advice. For Valentine’s Day, Danciu recommends sticking with the basics.

“Roses are always a good idea. Tulips are lovely and so are spring flowers,” says Danciu. “Back in Victorian times, every flower had a story. Of course, red roses meant love, but red and white roses together meant love and unity. Yellow roses were for joy and orange were for passion.”
