Hop Angel Brauhaus is a new Germanic bar/restaurant in an old building at 7980 Oxford Avenue in the Fox Chase neighborhood in Philadelphia PA.
Formerly 7980 Oxford was the site of the Old Brauhaus, the Blue Ox Brauhaus, and most recently Blue Ox Bistro. .
The menu features traditional German specialties accompanied by traditional American fare, including steak and seafood. They also offer a casual 'Anytime Menu.' Their kitchen is open late 7 days a week. The chef, Kevin McDevitt, is a local Fox Chase resident. Along with German/American cuisine, Chef Kevin specializes in cooking delicious seafood dishes!
